The best Red Velvet Pancakes Recipe

The red velvet cake is my daughter Vickys favorite cake. For that reason, I have created the best recipe for red velvet pancakes, and because of its intense red color, it fits very well on Valentines Day, as a special breakfast during the Christmas season.

A pancake is synonymous with a spongy cake made in a pan in record time. So, I envisioned a tower of fluffy red chocolate cakes dipped in a decadent cream cheese syrup topping that could slide around those round romantic red cakes. Worthy of a good breakfast for those I love the most.

What Ingredients you Need to Make Red Velvet Pancakes

  1. Flour: Just allpurpose flour. But for a healthier version, you can try this flour in equal quantities.
  2. Sugar: Regular granulated sugar.
  3. Baking Powder: To get good fluffy pancakes youll need a full tablespoon of baking powder.
  4. Baking Soda: youll need a full tablespoon as well
  5. Cocoa Powder: This gives the pancakes a slightly chocolate flavor. All you need is two teaspoons!
  6. Salt: I like to use fleur de salt, but sea salt or table salt will also work.
  7. Buttermilk: I tried the most similar to red velvet cake. So buttermilk would be even better! 1 1/2 cup.
  8. Eggs: Please choose two extra large eggs for fluffy pancakes.
  9. Butter: You could use melted butter in place of vegetable oil if desired 1/2 cup.
  10. Food Coloring: You may also think that two tablespoons are a lot of food coloring, but it depends on the brand, try a good one like this food color. You could start with one tablespoon, try a little mix in a pan, and check the red color level. If you see a dark pink color, add a second tablespoon.

What Ingredients you Need to Make Cream Cheese Glazed

  1. Cream Cheese: This is for the cream cheese topping. Make sure it is at room temperature.
  2. Powdered Sugar: Also, for the cream cheese topping.
  3. Vanilla Extract: For the best flavor, make sure it is a pure vanilla extract, not an imitation.
  4. Fleur de Salt: I love this kind of salt. However, use simply salt. A bit of salt will add a lot of depth to cream cheese syrup.
  5. Milk: You can add more or less to your liking. I like the icing to drizzle, so Ill be a little more heavyhanded. 3 or 4 Tablespoons.

How to Make Red Velvet Pancakes

How to Make Easy Cream Cheese Glazed
