Welcome, January. I was more than ready for a delicious recipe for homemade hazelnut butter, white Nutella without chocolate. Better known as Nocciola. With three ingredients with flavor options, health benefits of this recipe, and uses for this hazelnut butter!
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of a delicious homemade hazelnut butter recipe is a homemade Nutella spread. And, if that‘s what you want too, don‘t wait any longer! I already have a recipe for you!
Ingredients
- 400 gr Unsalted, skinless, and raw hazelnuts
- 1 Tbsp Coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp Xylitol, Stevia, or conventional white granulated sugar
- 1/8 Tsp Sea salt Optional
Instructions
- Put the skinless hazelnuts in the oven at 350F or 180C for 10 minutes.
- In a high–powered blender, start blending on the cream setting until creamy. If the hazelnut mixture is too thick, start by melting one tablespoon of coconut oil.
- Add the second tablespoon if necessary. Then sea salt.
- Add the xylitol little by little and blend until smooth.
- Rectify the flavor before removing it from the blender.
- The mixture should be thick but not very dense. Remember that it is a hazelnut cream, the spread should not be hard, otherwise, you will not be able to spread it on food.
- Put in a jar and keep in a cool place.
