Description

If youve ever wanted to get creative with your dessert presentation, then youve probably thought about using melted chocolate to decorate your favorite fruits. It is fancy and easy to prepare for Valentines Day. The bestcovered chocolate strawberries recipe near me

Ingredients

Units Scale

  • 18 large strawberries approximately to cover with white chocolate

  • 18 large strawberries to cover with dark chocolate

  • 340 gr of white chocolate. To cover the strawberries

  • 340 gr of dark chocolate. To cover the strawberries

  • 2 tps of Coconut Oil. One for each color of chocolate

TO DECORATE

  • 1/2 cup of dark chocolate.

  • 1/2 cup of white chocolate

  • Nut mixes

  • Grated coconut

  • Pearl sugar in dark pink color

  • Pearl sugar in silver color

EQUIPMENT

  • Wooden toothpicks to hold the strawberries

  • Oven tray

  • Baking paper

  • Serving tray

  • Heart-shaped plates. Optional

Instructions

  1. Wash the strawberries with water and apple cider vinegar.

  2. Be sure to dry them well; they must be completely dry. The water will prevent the chocolate from sticking to the strawberry.

  3. Return the strawberries to the refrigerator to chill.

  4. Insert the toothpicks to hold the strawberries. Introduce them from the green leaves without transferring the strawberry.

  5. Line the baking sheet with parchment, wax paper, or parchment paper

  6. Using a heatproof bowl, microwave the white chocolate and add the coconut oil, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted and completely melted and glossy.

  7. Holding the strawberry by the stem, dip it into the chocolate, turning to coat. Lift and drop the excess chocolate and let the strawberry rest on the tray you covered with parchment paper.

  8. Decorate as soon as possible with the shredded coconut, nuts mix, and pearl sugar so that the garnish sticks to the chocolate that is still wet.

  9. Wait 30 minutes for the chocolate to set, or place the strawberries in the fridge for 15 minutes to speed up the process

  10. Proceed to melt the dark chocolate and repeat the same instructions to the white chocolate.

  11. Holding the strawberry by the stem, dip it into the chocolate, turning to coat. Lift and drop the excess chocolate and let the strawberry rest on the tray you covered with parchment paper.

  12. Decorate as soon as possible so that the garnish sticks to the chocolate that is still wet.

  13. Wait 30 minutes for the chocolate to set or put the strawberries in the fridge for 15 minutes to speed up the process.

  14. Enjoy them the same day, which is when they are best. However, they keep perfectly in the refrigerator for up to 1 or 2 days.

Notes

  • Follow all the instructions

  • For best result I recommend Ghirardelli Chocolate in both flavors.

  • I prefer to use bittersweet or semisweet chocolate.

  • Dip the strawberries, and put the topping immediately after youve dipped them in the melted chocolate
