  • 510 gr of allpurpose flour


  • 1 tablespoon of active dry yeast


  • 2 teaspoons of honey


  • 1 teaspoon of salt


  • 60 ml of extra virgin olive oil


  • 330 ml of warm water

Instructions

Preparing the dough:





  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.


  2. Add the olive oil and warm water, and mix until the dough is smooth.


  3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, until it is elastic and smooth.



Kneading and rising the dough:





  1. Place the dough in a clean mixing bowl and cover it with plastic wrap.


  2. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about an hour, until it has doubled in size.



Preparing the pan and forming the bread:





  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.


  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.


  3. Place the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and use your fingers to flatten it into a rectangle.
