In midSeptember of this year, food bloggers around the world began to spread industrial amounts of butter on wooden boards, to later add chives, herbs, red onion, salt, and even edible petals, they called it butter board, the most popular recipe on social feed networks. Everything seemed to indicate that the reign of charcuterie boards had come to an end. If you want to prepare a butter board to take very aesthetic photos and enjoy with your friends, you can start with very simple recipes like this one.

BUTTER FLAVORS



  • 227 gr salted butter

  • 1 Tsbp edible flowers

  • 1 Tsbp Chives

  • 1 Tsbp Chili flakes

  • 1 Tsbp Honey

  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic


Instructions


  1. Take the butter out of the fridge and set them out to soften.

  2. Once the butter is at room temperature, mix 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter with 1 tablespoon of flavor. You can use a cake spatula.

  3. Put the mix into a silicone mold, and then put it into the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 

  4. Place a piece of waxed paper on a wooden, marble, or terrazzo board.

  5. Garnish with your favorite toppings.

  6. For a sweet butter board, you can decorate it with strawberries, raspberries, jam, chocolate chips, marshmallows, edible flowers, lemon zest, or honey.

  7. For a savory butter board, you can add red onion, olives, basil, dill, sea salt, chilies, chives, and more.

  8. Accompany with sourdough bread, crackers, or breadsticks.
